EllenDoc Terms of Use
The conditions to use all the resources of the EllenDoc clearly and safely.

1. Acceptance and purpose
By installing or using EllenDoc, you agree to these Terms. The app assists in reading, organizing, scanning, locally signing and securing documents on supported Android devices.
2. License
You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to lawfully use the application. These Terms do not transfer intellectual property in EllenDoc or licensed components.
3. Requirements
Features and performance depend on the Android version, memory, storage, hardware, and, for the scanner, availability of the Google Play Services and required modules.
4. Price and billing
EllenDoc will be offered for R$ 9,90 per month, without ads. Contracting, recurring billing, cancellation and eventual refunds will be processed by Google Play in accordance with the conditions displayed in the store and the rights provided for in applicable legislation.
5. User Responsibilities
Keep the Vault PIN, recovery password and passwords/certificates at your own risk. They are different secrets. There is no guaranteed remote recovery. Before wiping data, uninstalling, or changing devices, confirm the existence and password of a usable backup.
6. Content and permitted use
You remain responsible for the documents and rights to them. Do not use the application to violate laws, copyrights, third-party privacy, tamper with documents or commit fraud.
7. Compatibility
EllenDoc does not promise identical fidelity to Microsoft Office. Fonts, advanced features, large, corrupted, encrypted files, or unsupported formats may produce differences or crashes. The app opens ZIP/RAR and creates ZIP, but does not create RAR; Some encrypted ZIP, ZIP64, and multipart files may not be supported.
8. Scanner and adjustments
The scanner depends on the Google Play Services component. Ellen Magic Fix is image adjustment and does not reconstruct hidden text or guarantee readability, authenticity or recognition.
9. Subscriptions
The drawn signature and local signature of PDF with certificate P12/PFX are technical tools. The application does not automatically guarantee legal validity, certified ICP-Brasil, PAdES framework or acceptance by third parties. Evaluate legal and recipient requirements.
10. Sharing and printing
By sharing, printing or saving a copy, you authorize delivery to your chosen destination. EllenDoc does not control retention, security or use of the copy after delivery.
11. Backup and Restore
The backup uses a folder chosen by the Android selector. Scheduled runs may be delayed by battery, Doze, provider availability, or connectivity. Rereading by DocumentsProvider checks for accessible copy, not instant sync with servers. The restore is designed for installation without local Vault and does not overwrite existing Vault.
12. Availability and responsibility
Unavailability, defects and incompatibilities may occur. Nothing in these Terms excludes the supplier's legal liability for damages attributable to it or limits unavailable rights. The user must keep adequate copies of files that he cannot lose.
13. Updates and third parties
Updates may fix security, compatibility, or change features. Android, Google Play Services, Google Drive and other applications/providers are operated by third parties and have their own terms.
14. Applicable law and changes
Brazilian legislation applies, including the Consumer Protection Code and LGPD. The competent forum will be determined by the applicable legal rules, preserving the consumer's rights. Changes will be published with an effective date.
